Print an InfoPath List Item Form

So you are not by default able to do this. One of my favoite Microsoft InfoPath MVPs references a clunky workaround for this feature here and there are various addons that you can purchase.

However, if you are using InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2010 and you want something really easy to set up that allows users to print list item forms, you can create a button in the form (or a check box or some other trigger) to send the form to the recipient via email. Once the form is in the email, it is fully printable. To do this, you will need to set up a Submit to Email data connection and have the button (or check box, or whatever) be the trigger. This does involve a small degree of user education, so that they know that the item is not going directly to the print queue. However, for various reasons, we use lots of list forms and this process works extremely well for our purposes. And there is an added bonus - most people find that if they have the form in their email, they don't actually need to print it!
